Working Agreement · Video Editing

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how project enquiries, editing services, agreed deliverables, revisions and customer responsibilities are handled by AVENTUR TEYLU LTD.

These Terms & Conditions apply to video editing services supplied by AVENTUR TEYLU LTD. They should be read alongside the service description and any project-specific quotation or written confirmation provided to you.

Please note: This website is used to enquire about services. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself confirm a booking or initiate a payment. A project becomes binding when the relevant terms, scope and price have been accepted through an agreed communication or other clear confirmation. If a project-specific agreement conflicts with these general terms, the specific provision will apply to the extent that it was expressly agreed and is lawful.
01

About these terms and our business

The service provider is:

  • Company name: AVENTUR TEYLU LTD
  • Company number: 14375226
  • Business address: Suite 6, Tower House, New Portreath Road, Redruth, England, TR16 4QL

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AVENTUR TEYLU LTD. “You” and “your” refer to the person or organisation enquiring about or purchasing our services. A “consumer” means an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

These terms apply to services we agree to supply. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

02

Project enquiries and contract formation

You may contact us to describe your footage, intended final video, preferred format and other project requirements. We may ask follow-up questions or request information about the source files before confirming whether the project is suitable.

An enquiry, indicative discussion or submission of files does not automatically mean that we have accepted the project. Before work begins, we will confirm the relevant details, which may include:

  • The selected package or individually agreed service scope.
  • The price and any applicable additional charges.
  • The source footage limits and expected final video length.
  • The intended aspect ratio and final file format.
  • The estimated turnaround and how the completed file will be delivered.
  • The included amendment allowance and any agreed exclusions.
  • The payment arrangements applicable to that project.

The contract is formed when we have clearly accepted the project and you have accepted the applicable terms, price and scope through the agreed communication or confirmation process. We will provide or confirm the agreed arrangements in a form you can retain.

Please ensure that the contact details and project instructions you provide are accurate. If a material requirement changes, let us know promptly.

03

Services and standard package scope

We edit client-supplied footage according to the agreed brief. Standard editing tasks may include selecting and sequencing clips, trimming footage, improving the flow of the video, balancing audio levels, applying basic colour or brightness correction and exporting the agreed final file.

PackageMaximum final lengthMaximum source footageEstimated turnaroundIncluded amendment rounds
Essential Cut — £5560 seconds15 minutes3 working days1
Standard Edit — £953 minutes30 minutes4 working days1
Extended Edit — £18510 minutes60 minutes6 working days1
Long-form Edit — £29520 minutes90 minutes8 working days1

The package descriptions above apply only where these packages and prices are published and available when you confirm your project. If a project-specific quotation expressly sets a different scope, price or turnaround, we will use the details agreed for that project, subject to applicable law.

The standard final deliverable is one MP4 file in the agreed aspect ratio. The service does not include the following unless separately agreed in writing:

  • Filming, photography, venue visits or event production.
  • Advanced animation, motion graphics or specialist visual effects.
  • Voice-over recording, subtitle creation or transcription.
  • Music sourcing, music licensing or third-party rights clearance.
  • Specialist noise removal or advanced dialogue restoration.
  • Multiple cut-downs, extra versions, additional aspect ratios or editable project files.
  • Marketing strategy, social media account management or publishing.

We will not assume that excluded work is included merely because it could be useful to the project.

04

Prices, quotations and payment

The price applicable to your project will be confirmed before work begins. Published package prices describe the standard scope and limits stated on the Services page. Where a project needs additional work, we will explain the proposed scope, any additional price and any effect on timing before asking you to approve it.

Our website does not provide an online checkout or payment flow. The payment method, payment timing and any invoice arrangements will be confirmed directly for the project. You should not assume a payment method or deadline applies unless it has been communicated and agreed.

Unless otherwise confirmed, prices are stated in pounds sterling (£). Any applicable taxes or other charges will be explained as required before you enter into the relevant contract.

We will not proceed with chargeable work outside the agreed scope without your agreement to the revised arrangement. If you do not accept a proposed change, the existing agreed scope will remain the reference point, subject to any applicable contractual or statutory rights.

05

Your footage, instructions and responsibilities

You must provide the footage, instructions and other materials reasonably needed for the agreed edit. You are responsible for ensuring that the materials are lawful to use and that you have the necessary rights, permissions and authority to provide them to us for editing.

This may include permissions relating to music, photographs, logos, third-party content and identifiable people where required. You remain responsible for the accuracy of instructions, supplied text and factual information that you ask us to include.

You should:

  • Provide usable files and accurate instructions in a timely manner.
  • Tell us about any important sections, restrictions or technical requirements before work begins.
  • Ensure that you are authorised to share all supplied materials with us.
  • Keep copies of your original footage and any important project materials.
  • Review the supplied edit and communicate any concerns clearly and promptly.

If footage is corrupted, inaccessible, technically unsuitable or materially different from what was described, we may need replacement files, clarification or a revised quotation. If the issue affects the agreed schedule, we will explain the impact where practicable.

We do not provide legal advice or guarantee that client-supplied material has been cleared for every intended use. We may decline to work with material where there is a reasonable concern about legality, permissions or the nature of the requested work.

06

Delivery times and digital delivery

The standard turnaround estimate starts on the next working day after the project scope and quotation have been accepted and all required footage, instructions and relevant permissions have been received in usable form.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales. The published package estimates refer to the initial review version, unless a different arrangement has been expressly confirmed.

Final delivery may depend on the timing of your feedback and whether agreed amendments are needed. If you provide incomplete materials, request a material change or take additional time to respond, the original estimate may no longer be achievable. We will communicate significant changes and an updated estimate where practicable.

The completed video will normally be supplied as one MP4 file through the agreed digital delivery method. You are responsible for downloading and retaining your own copy after delivery. If a file cannot be accessed or appears technically defective, please contact us so we can investigate.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory requirement to perform a service within an agreed or legally reasonable time.

07

Review, amendments and additional work

Each standard package includes one consolidated round of reasonable amendments that remain within the original agreed brief. We ask you to provide one combined set of feedback within 5 working days of receiving the review version.

Examples of potential in-scope amendments include reasonable adjustments to an existing edit to bring it into line with the agreed instructions. The included amendment round is not intended to cover a completely new brief, additional footage, a substantially different creative direction or deliverables beyond the package limits.

If you request work beyond the agreed scope, we will explain whether it can be undertaken and provide any revised price and estimated timing for your approval. We will obtain your agreement before beginning chargeable additional work.

The amendment allowance does not limit your statutory rights where a service fails to meet applicable legal requirements. If you believe the delivered work does not conform to the agreed scope, please identify the concern so we can review it.

08

Cancellation, refunds and statutory rights

Cancellation and refund requests are assessed according to the applicable contract terms, the stage of the work and any statutory rights that apply to the particular contract.

Where a consumer enters into a qualifying distance or off-premises service contract, a statutory 14-day cancellation period may apply. The application of these rights depends on the nature of the contract and the circumstances. If you ask us to start work during a cancellation period, additional legal requirements may apply to that request and to any amount payable if you later cancel.

For contracts involving digital content supplied electronically, separate rules may apply to starting supply during the cancellation period. Any required express consent and acknowledgement must be obtained through the actual contracting process where applicable; a statement in these terms alone does not replace that process.

We do not apply a blanket rule that all cancellations or refunds are excluded once work has started. Requests will be assessed fairly under the relevant contract and law. Where a refund is due, it will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe.

For further information, please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

09

Intellectual property and permitted use

You retain responsibility for the rights in footage, music, images, logos and other materials that you supply. By providing those materials, you authorise us to use them to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the agreed editing service.

You must not provide material for editing where you lack the necessary authority or permissions. You are responsible for deciding whether the finished video is suitable for your intended use and whether further permissions are required for publication, distribution or commercial use.

Once the agreed service has been paid for in accordance with the project arrangements, you may use the final deliverable for the purposes agreed for your project, subject to third-party rights and any specific written terms. This does not transfer ownership of third-party material or grant rights in music, stock assets or other content that is subject to separate licensing conditions.

Editable project files, source timelines and temporary working files are not included unless expressly agreed. We will not use your completed project in a public portfolio or promotional material merely because you supplied the footage; any such use requires appropriate separate permission.

10

File retention and data handling

Source footage and temporary editing files are normally deleted within 90 days after final delivery, subject to unresolved issues, applicable legal requirements and any different arrangement agreed with you.

You should keep your own copies of original footage and download the final file promptly. We do not promise indefinite storage or future access to working files unless a separate arrangement has been agreed.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Cookie use and related settings are described in our Cookie Policy.

11

Service standards and liability

We will perform the agreed service with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the scope and arrangements confirmed for the project. Where applicable law provides a remedy for a service that does not conform to the contract, these terms do not remove that remedy.

Editing outcomes can be affected by source footage quality, recording conditions, file compression, background noise, missing material and the clarity of the instructions supplied. We do not guarantee that editing can restore detail or sound information that was not captured or is not reasonably recoverable.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for problems caused by materials or instructions supplied by you, unauthorised third-party content, or use of the final video outside the agreed purpose. This does not excuse any failure by us to perform our own contractual or legal obligations.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.

12

Complaints and communication

If you have a concern about the service, delivery, communication or agreed scope, please contact us and explain the issue. Where possible, include the relevant project details and identify the part of the agreed brief or deliverable that concerns you.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and provide a substantive response within 10 working days where reasonably practicable. If further investigation is needed, we will explain the reason for the delay and provide an update where practicable.

Our Complaints Policy explains how complaints are reviewed and how you can ask us to reconsider an outcome. This procedure does not prevent you from exercising any legal rights available to you.

13

General provisions

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our business, services or legal requirements. The version applicable to an existing project will not be changed retrospectively in a way that alters your agreed rights or obligations without the required agreement or legal basis.

Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect any mandatory statutory protection.

No waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision, this does not automatically mean that we waive our right to rely on it later.

Third-party rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these terms do not intend to grant enforcement rights to a person who is not a party to the relevant contract, subject to any rights that arise under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to consumers in their place of residence. Where a consumer is entitled by law to bring proceedings in a different jurisdiction, this clause does not remove that entitlement.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the confirmed project brief, quotation and any expressly agreed project-specific terms, form the agreement relating to the service. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for statements or representations where exclusion would be unlawful.
